#4 KICKOFF – WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal

With so many matches set for this year’s show (reports suggest 16 but I make it as many as 18!), these Battle Royals are largely meaningless but at least they get people on the card. To make the Women’s Battle Royal more interesting, I can see WWE adding a stipulation that the winner will challenge Asuka for the SmackDown Women’s Championship later in the night.

#5 Intercontinental Championship ladder match: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Apollo Crews vs. Baron Corbin vs. Braun Strowman vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler

On with the main show, Finn Balor’s Intercontinental Championship reign is already over and it would be very underwhelming if he faced Bobby Lashley yet again at WrestleMania. I’m assuming Balor lost the title because WWE has a bigger match in mind (more on that soon), leaving Lashley to defend it in a multi-man ladder match against the best of the rest on Raw.

#6 Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles

Randy Orton and AJ Styles were involved in one of the best promo battles of the year so far on this week’s SmackDown Live. Their WrestleMania match isn’t yet official but it is certain to be confirmed at some point in the next few weeks (UPDATE: It is now official). This week’s promo suggests that the match will be built around Orton’s status as “Mr. WWE” and Styles’ previous status as “King of the Indies”.
