#7 Shane McMahon vs. The Miz

The Miz was attacked by Shane McMahon in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio at Fastlane. Two nights later, Shane explained that he is sick of helping other people and his reluctant tag partnership with Miz was the final straw. It was then confirmed that they’ll go one-on-one at WrestleMania.

#8 SmackDown Women’s Championship: Asuka (c) vs. Lacey Evans

Following on from the Women’s Battle Royal stipulation, I see Lacey Evans as the favourite to win and go on to challenge Asuka. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville were in the title picture but they will presumably go to the back of the line after their losses this week. Carmella and Naomi are among the other possible challengers, but Evans seems to be the only other woman who is being built up right now.

#9 Triple H vs. Batista

Ric Flair’s 70th birthday celebration ended in disaster when Batista returned and dragged the two-time Hall of Famer across the floor backstage. “The Animal” appeared on this week’s Raw and repeatedly shouted “Give me what I want!” into the microphone. Triple H then granted him his request and confirmed that they will go one-on-one at WrestleMania.
