Shane McMahon kicked off this week’s episode of SmackDown Live by promoting the rest of the show. However, he was soon interrupted by The Miz, who showed remorse following his error in Sunday’s SmackDown Tag Team Championship loss to The Usos and wanted Shane to use his authority to set up a rematch for the titles.

It looked as though Shane would not agree to his tag partner’s request, but then The Usos appeared and began to dismiss Miz as nothing more than a “joke, loser, failure, fraud and wannabe A-Lister with C-List skills”.

After hearing what Jimmy and Jey had to say, Shane promptly booked the match for Fastlane on March 10, which is significant because the pay-per-view takes place in Miz’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
