Daniel Bryan will put his eco-friendly WWE Championship on the line against Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy, Mustafa Ali and AJ Styles at Elimination Chamber on Sunday, February 17.
With the 2019 event on the horizon, let’s take a look at how the WWE champion has fared at past Elimination Chamber pay-per-views…
2011: Daniel Bryan vs. Ted DiBiase
Before he became the main-event star we know him as today, Daniel Bryan was involved in the United States Championship picture from September 2010 to April 2011.
However, with the exception of his victory over The Miz to win the title at Night of Champions 2010, Bryan’s tenure as champion was just as forgettable as many of the United States title reigns we have seen in WWE over the last year.
He defeated Ted DiBiase in a dark match at Elimination Chamber 2011 to retain the title — only his third PPV title defence in six months — before losing it to Sheamus one month later on Raw.
