Pete Dunne has held the WWE United Kingdom Championship for almost 18 months, making him the longest-reigning WWE title holder of the modern era.
“The Bruiserweight” won the title from Tyler Bate at NXT TakeOver: Chicago in May 2017 and he has since defended it against Superstars including Johnny Gargano, Zack Gibson and Noam Dar.
WWE recently posted a graphic on Instagram with Dunne above Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose on a list of champions with lengthy title reigns.
The UK champion replied with the following tweet: “Turn 25 years old in a few hours as the longest reigning champion of the modern era. World champ by 30.”
