Several storyline developments took place at WWE Fastlane on Sunday and Raw on Monday which will shape the road to WrestleMania 35 over the next four weeks. With Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Ronda Rousey, Triple H and many more all featuring in prominent roles on Monday nights right now, let’s take a look at the five biggest storylines we can expect to see from the red brand as we get closer to April 7…
#5 Kurt Angle vs. TBC
Kurt Angle has been heavily involved at each of the last two WrestleMania weekends. In 2017, he delivered one of the greatest Hall of Fame speeches ever as he returned to WWE as the headline name in the HOF. One year later, he took part in arguably the most anticipated match at WrestleMania 34 when he teamed with the debuting Ronda Rousey to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
Now, after an in-ring career spanning more than 20 years, the Olympic Gold medallist has announced that he will compete in his ‘farewell match’ at WrestleMania 35. Due to the ‘farewell’ wording, as opposed to ‘retirement’, it is unclear if this will be his last pro wrestling match, or whether it will only be his last in a WWE ring. Either way, this storyline will feature heavily on Raw over the next month.
