The last WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view took place in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 25, 2018, with Roman Reigns and Alexa Bliss emerging as the big winners from the event.
One year on, as we get closer to the 2019 Chamber PPV on February 17, let’s take a look at five Superstars/teams whose careers have taken off the most since last year’s event…
#5 Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose
Elimination Chamber 2018: Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose produced decent performances in the first women’s Chamber match but, having only just joined the main roster, neither of them were serious contenders to win the Raw Women’s Championship. Rose was the first to be eliminated, by Sasha Banks after 13 minutes, while Deville followed four minutes later after being pinned by Mickie James. Alexa Bliss went on to retain her title.
Elimination Chamber 2019: Twelve months later, the former Absolution members have started to establish themselves as prominent Superstars in the women’s division on SmackDown Live. They will take part in a women’s Chamber match again on February 17, this time for the new Women’s Tag Team Championship, and they have built up so much momentum that it would not be a huge surprise if they walked out as champions.
