The 2019 WWE Fastlane pay-per-view took place in Cleveland, Ohio on Sunday, March 10. No titles changed hands on a night where multiple WrestleMania 35 storylines were set up, while The Shield teamed together for “one last ride” in the main event. Let’s take a look at five of the best moments from the show…
#5 The Revival retains in a high-tempo match
The Revival have been pleading for more time on WWE television since the end of 2018. Now that they are finally getting in, as Raw Tag Team champions no less, they are making the red brand’s tag division more relevant than it has been since The Hardy Boyz, The Shield and The Bar feuded over the titles in the summer of 2017.
Granted, they have been on a losing streak lately, but Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder’s victory over Aleister Black & Ricochet and Chad Gable & Bobby Roode, courtesy of a Shatter Machine on Gable, was among the best moments of the show. The post-match brawl between the three teams, with Black & Ricochet standing tall, suggests that we’ll see this feud continue into WrestleMania.
