The 2019 WWE Fastlane pay-per-view takes place in Cleveland, Ohio on Sunday, March 10. Nine matches are scheduled for the event, including Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair (Lynch gets added to Ronda Rousey vs. Flair at WrestleMania 35 if she wins) and Daniel Bryan vs. Kevin Owens (WWE Championship).
The other seven matches are as follows: Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade (kickoff show), Xavier Woods & Big E vs. Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura (kickoff show), The Shield vs. Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre & Bobby Lashley, Sasha Banks & Bayley vs. Nia Jax & Tamina (Women’s Tag Team Championship), The Revival vs. Bobby Roode & Chad Gable vs. Aleister Black & Ricochet (Raw Tag Team Championship), The Usos vs. Shane McMahon & The Miz (SmackDown Tag Team Championship), and Asuka vs. Mandy Rose (SmackDown Women’s Championship).
Based on bookmakers’ odds, let’s take a look at which Superstars are being deemed favourites to win their matches on Sunday (Woods & Big E vs. Rusev & Nakamura is not included because odds are not available on that match)…
#8 Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade (kickoff show)
Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade was a late addition to the kickoff show after their rivalry was renewed in United States Championship Open Challenges on SmackDown Live in recent weeks. Mysterio is yet to defeat his rival in their five meetings so far in 2019 (tag match x1, singles matches x2, multi-man matches x2), and Andrade is being favoured again by the bookmakers to win on Sunday.
#7 The Shield vs. Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre & Bobby Lashley
It took a lot of convincing, but Roman Reigns eventually got The Shield back together on Monday’s episode of Raw. Reunited again for the third time in 18 months, Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are considered the favourites to emerge from Fastlane with a victory over the villainous Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley.
