WWE has announced that Ronda Rousey will defend her Raw Women’s Championship at Elimination Chamber on Sunday, February 17.
“The Baddest Woman on the Planet” defeated Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan in back-to-back matches on the February 4 episode of Raw, so she will now go one-on-one with the leader of The Riott Squad, Ruby Riott.
With only four other matches currently scheduled for the upcoming pay-per-view, it had been widely speculated that Riott would receive a title opportunity after she exchanged words with Rousey on social media following Raw.
The Raw Women’s champion tweeted: “You don’t want to see me riot @RubyRiottWWE”
Riott replied: “Pleeeaaassee! Exactly what I said would happen did. You care SO much about what these people think about you that a few “boos” gets you all disheveled. My mind isn’t clouded by the opinions of the sheep. My focus is two things…my squad, and becoming the RAW Women’s Champion.”
