#2 Vince McMahon interference
Vince McMahon returned to WWE television in December 2018 as the formerly-evil-but-now-totally-fair boss who simply wanted to give WWE fans what they wanted. He, along with the rest of the McMahon family, said fans are going to be seeing new faces and new matches on Raw and SmackDown Live over the next few weeks, while he announced on the Christmas Eve episode of Raw that Women’s Tag Team titles were on the way in 2019.
Since then, good-guy Vince has returned to his villainous ways by suspending Becky Lynch and removing Kofi Kingston from his WWE Championship match against Daniel Bryan at Fastlane. Now that Lynch is reinstated, he is focusing solely on Kingston, who he described this week as a “B+ Player” before setting up next week’s gauntlet match.
Knowing Vince as we all know Vince, there is, to quote the man himself, “no chance in hell” that he doesn’t get involved in next Tuesday’s match in some capacity. Will he restart the match if things don’t go his way? Will he send in another gauntlet opponent if Kingston wins? Whatever happens, expect to see Vinny Mac during the match.
