The latest episode of WWE SmackDown Live took place in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday, January 29.

Here’s a recap of what happened on the show…

Opening segment: Becky Lynch kicks off SmackDown Live

Summary: Royal Rumble winner Becky Lynch addressed her Rumble loss to Asuka, saying “unlike Ronda Rousey, I don’t crumble when I lose”. She said she was proud of working her way from the kickoff show to the main event and vowed to break Rousey’s arm at WrestleMania 35. Charlotte Flair appeared and took credit for Lynch’s success, prompting “The Man” to punch her in the face and limp up the stage. Flair caught up with her and the two brawled until they were separated by officials.

Verdict: Interesting! Flair mentioned how Lynch pulled a trick out of her book by entering a match — the Rumble — that she wasn’t originally supposed to be in, hinting that “The Queen” might be added to the ‘Mania main event. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I wouldn’t mind if it happened. Flair vs. Rousey was the long-term plan for ‘Mania and it seems so unfair that Flair could miss out on the coveted main-event spot as a result of Nia Jax’s clumsy punch on Lynch in November.
