WWE SmackDown Live (Mar. 12, 2019): Results, Grades, Review, Winners, Highlights

In-ring segment: Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair

Summary: Having thrown her crutch to the side of the stage, Becky Lynch recalled her many ups and downs recently, from the suspensions to her arrest, before turning her attention to Ronda Rousey, asking “Do you know how difficult it is to play mind games with a woman with no brain?”. Charlotte Flair interrupted and describing herself as “Ms. WrestleMania”, saying she has been hot for four years and Lynch has only had a good six months. Lynch closed by saying WrestleMania doesn’t need a “Queen”, it needs a “Man”, and then she dropped the mic and ended the segment with her arm raised.

Verdict: Not the best. There were some good lines from Lynch, notably the one above about “little weirdo Ronnie” not having a brain, but something felt very underwhelming throughout this promo. It’s as though the storyline peaked months ago and now, after all the crazy plot twists and obstacles, fans are tired of all the build-up and they’re ready for the match to finally happen.

Grade: B-
